Job Description – Scrum Master
You will work on client projects as a Scrum Master responsible for driving development activities and co-ordinating the team towards high-quality and timely deliverables bringing value to customers. Some of your responsibilities shall include:
- Organizing and co-ordinating team members to ensure that deliverables are delivered on time and with high-quality.
- Organizing and facilitating agile ceremonies – daily stand-ups, PI planning, etc
- Help teams remove impediments, bottle necks and showstoppers.
- Act as a Agile coach teaching different teams about Agile principles and Way of Working.
- Drive and promote knowledge sharing, team collaboration, and problem solving.
- Handle, manage and resolve conflict across cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with other Agile practitioners – Product Owners, Release Train Engineers, Epic Owners, etc
Who are you?
- You have 3 or more years of experience in software engineering in a team leadership or co-ordinator role.
- You have solid understanding of Agile SAFe principles and way of working.
- Good communication skills, presentation, and reporting skills.
- You know how to inspire and motivate people.
- You have solid skills in JIRA, Confluence, or other popular Agile management tools.
- Good knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), software QA processes, CI/CD, and release management.
- You have a diploma certificate or a university degree preferably in a business or technical subject area (IT/Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business/Management, or related). Other non-IT/non-Engineering academic disciplines (Law, Finance, etc) shall be considered if relevant skills/experience can be demonstrated.
Meritorious/Very good to have
- Background in programming or work experience as a software developer.
- Relevant Agile SAFe certifications.
- Basic knowledge/experience of popular cloud services and technologies from any of the top 3 cloud providers - AWS/Azure/GCP.
- Experience of Agile and DevOps culture.
